Easter is such a wonderful time, and truly one of the most exciting celebrations for children in a year so it would be easy for this year to feel quite wonky with everything going on.
We obviously can't deliver right so now so are trying to share our favourite activities to help you, as we know you are super busy juggling work, children and everything else and we are so grateful for you supporting us when you were able so we wanted to try to support you, this wonderful community that we feel so lucky to be a part of.
So that being said we have found the EASIEST sugar cookie recipe - tried and tested by ourselves and taken from the blog of Rachel Parcel, you can find it on her blog here.
We didn't use the cream cheese frosting as I didn't have cream cheese and didn't want to go to the store (#stayhomecayman) so I made a simple but yum buttercream icing (threw in a stick of softened - not melted- butter, a couple of splashes of vanilla essence, a bunch of icing sugar whipped it up and then added a little water until it got to the nicest consistency). I actually made the dough the night before & left it in the fridge which would be the perfect thing to do when the children are in bed & then they just have a 10 min roll out & 5-10 min bake so a suuuuper easy morning activity.
These are mine ^^ not the neatest and certainly not @brookiescookies worthy but we think they are pretty cute & they taste amazing!
